Reiki News

I hosted a Reiki Meditations day on 12th June, which was a lovely peaceful day, except for the weather which thought that we had fast tracked to Autumn.  I taught everyone a new meditation that I have written, have a look at the Blessing Meditation and try it yourself.

The Reiki share group will meet on 12th July 2011.

Shibumi

Shibumi is a professional international Reiki association. It aims to support and promote the Japanese art of the system of Reiki.

To fulfil its aims, Shibumi brings together Reiki practitioners from all walks of life and from multitudes of countries. These Reiki practitioners have one main thing in common – they focus on working with the Japanese origins of the system as the foundation of their work.

This Reiki association provides education guidelines for its prospective members and the general public to provide a better understanding of what it means to practice the system of Reiki from a Japanese perspective.

Research into the system of Reiki will also be supported by Shibumi to support a greater understanding in the community of the benefits of this spiritual practice.

The system of Reiki has become known as a wide variety of practices – but do these practices actually relate back to the understandings of the system’s founder Usui Mikao? Shibumi focuses on the roots of the system of Reiki, finding in them a strong foundation and inherent depth of knowledge and truth.

The Reiki Share group has just donated £100.00 to the charity Smile Train, which helps repair cleft palettes.  Well done one and all.
