There are 3 Levels to Reiki, each level has a different focus.

First Level known as Shoden The student will learn to sense Ki,and methods and techniques will be taught to cultivate Ki.The student will be able to use this knowledge to ground and heal themselves,family and friends (but not professionally) the student will learn the five precepts which will help to develop their mental connection to Ki. They will also receive four attunements to enable them to sense Ki. The history of Reiki will also be taught.

The student will finish the course with a solid foundation on which to build their personal practice.

Shoden is a two day course.

Second Level Known as Okuden. At this level the student learns extra tools to strengthen their connection with Ki. They will study three Jummon, and three Shirushi (symbols) which will aid the student in focusing of KI. Three attunements are given at this level. Okuden will help the student to develop skills required to offer healing to others as a professional practice.

Should the student decide to practice professionally he/she would be required to keep a dairy of treatments given over a period of time.

Okuden is a two day course.

Third Level is known as Shinpiden. This level focusses on furthering personal development and the passing the system of Reiki to others. The student will learn how to give attunements and how to perform Reiju. One attunement is given at this level. Shinpiden delivers a greater understanding of the spritual pratice of Reiki.

Shinpiden is a three day course.

For each level the student will receive a course manual written by The International House of Reiki, and a Certificate.

I teach in small groups of four. All of the courses will take place in my own house I will provide tea and coffee, but please bring a packed lunch, Students are welcome to walk in the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet.
